Emergency Services Program

Careers

The program focuses on domestic emergency services, preparing students to work in the United States with ambulance and firefighting agencies. It is also a viable option for individuals who are interested in emergency medicine but aren't ready to take on nursing or pre-medical programs. Students can later build on emergency services training to train in the nursing field. Though the program currently focuses on the medical side of emergency services, it also applies to students interested in going into firefighting.

Projected Earnings

In 2007, local ambulance provider Piner's Napa Ambulance advertised EMT positions at $32,000 to $42,000.
