Area of specialization: Nuclear Chemistry (nuclear reaction mechanisms and nuclear spectroscopy).
Brief career history: I have taught at several colleges and universities, and worked at several National Laboratories where I was engaged in basic research. During most of this time I have had a consulting business in radiation physics.
Recent projects, papers, presentations or articles: I am generally engaged in one or more projects. Occasionally one of these results in a publication. Recent publication: "CO2 Removal Rate in Earth's Atmosphere" published in Research Journal of Chemistry and Environment, Volume 12, No(2), June (2008)
Hobbies and interests: Reading, hiking, and discussion about topics of interest ranging from science to philosophy. If you are interested in joining a "journal club" covering such topics please let me know.
