Message from the Administration
Pacific Union College is a place brimming with real life-social, physical, mental, and spiritual-which is apparent in our academic program, our physical campus, our student association, and our cultural activities. Our vision for this unique learning community is that it be a place where real life is explored and nurtured, combining a rigorous academic experience with a rich social community, authentic spiritual exploration and expression, and a focus on service.
After all, Christian education-that is, helping students discover a Christian world view-involves striving for excellence in all areas of life, including the training of the mind and spirit. In this sense, PUC offers undergraduate students a complete, whole-life education.
More than 125 years ago, one of our college's founders expressed hope that PUC would become a place for "thinkers, not mere reflectors of other men's thoughts." This ideal is at the center of our mission for PUC.
We're proud of our dedication to a solid undergraduate program and the recognition that program has received, proud of our qualified faculty and our successful, socially active students. But academic laurels mean little to us without the grander goal of creating an environment where students can experience this marvelous, mysterious thing called faith and give themselves to lives of service.
