April 27, 2002

The San Francisco Shakespeare Festival presents William Shakespeare’s The Tempest at Pacific Union College on April 27, 2002 at 9:00 p.m. The special ninety-minute production is performed with a cast of 10 characters accompanied by a live musical ensemble.

Shakespeare’s The Tempest is a play about the essence of human nature and touches on the themes of revenge, freedom, and youth versus old age. The professionally directed ensemble will present almost 300 performances this year to over 120,000 children at schools around the state.

The Tempest will be presented in Dauphinee Chapel. Admission is free and the program is suitable for children and adults. Contact Pacific Union College Student Association at (707) 965-7121 for more information.
