|
PUC students will be helping with the Napa Valley Dirt Classic Bike Race on Sunday, April 21. The race will take place on the PUC campus for the 11th year in a row this year. The race is 22 miles long and begins and ends near the gym, making its circuit through the many empty acres behind PUC. The event usually draws from 500 to 700 participants.
Students from the P.E. Department and some P.E. classes will be acting as course marshals to help direct participants at confusing places on the course, as well as manning water stands and registering participants. Student clubs will also be selling food at several booths to raise money. There are five or six students actually racing.
