Celebrate Christ’s resurrection in the Sanctuary during Majestic Worship at 10 A.M. with the Harlen Miller Chorale and Meditations by Tim Mitchell, and at The Gathering at 12:10 P.M. on Sabbath, March 15. Hospitality Time (drinks, food, and conversation) from 10:45 A.M.-1 P.M. at the church entrance.

SPRING VACATION
Spring vacation begins on Friday, March 21, and continues through Sunday, March 30.

SPANISH-LANGUAGE POETRY CONTEST

SPRING QUARTER OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE
Have a great time camping, canoeing, and backpacking on two different field trips while learning about equipment, building fires, food preparation ideas, how to read a topography map, compass, and GPS when you take Outdoor Experience ESTH 365. With this three-credit class, you can earn one hour of PE credit and two hours of elective credit. Class meets TTH from 8-8:50 A.M. Space is limited to 14 students. STUDENT WRITING AND ART EXHIBITION 2008
Entry forms are now available at the Department of Visual Arts and Student Services for the Student Writing and Art Exhibition. Submissions are accepted from all current PUC students. All entries must be original and not previously entered in a PUC exhibition or Quicksilver competition. Prizes will be awarded in a variety of categories.

QUICKSILVER ‘08

CALL FOR STUDENT ART ENTRIES
The student art show is coming up soon—the beginning of spring quarter! All current PUC students are eligible to enter artworks in a variety of categories. You might want to frame your painting or mat your drawing over Spring Break. Information sheets and entry forms are available at the Department of Visual Arts and Student Services. Artwork and entry forms are due at the Rasmussen Art Gallery on Thursday, April 10, from 1-5 P.M. Contact Thomas Morphis at 7241 or Cheryl Daley at 6402 for more information.

STUFF

RESIDENCE HALL CLOSING TIME
The residence halls will be closing on Thursday, March 20, at 8 P.M. All residence halls, except Winning and Newton, will be closed and inaccessible during vacation. Residents who need to stay on campus during any part of the vacation must make arrangements with their residence hall dean prior to the closing time. All vacation residents will be housed in Winning or Newton Halls. Residence halls re-open at 10 A.M. on Sunday, March 30.

SPRING BREAK TRANSPORTATION
Space is still available for drop off at Evans in Napa and Sacramento International Airport on Thursday, March 20. Van leaves Winning at 2:15 P.M. Return transportation to the College from Sacramento International Airport and Evans in Napa on Sunday, March 30, also available. Cost $15 one way. Contact Student Services at 7362 to sign up.

WINNING LOBBY HOURS
Winning lobby continues to be available for all-night study during Finals Week. After midnight, all non-studiers will be asked to leave the lobby. It is expected that the noise will be held to a minimum and that guests will behave in accordance with the Student Handbook.

LAST DAY
The last day to turn in religious service attendance to Student Services is Thursday, March 20. Any turned in after Thursday will not be counted towards the winter quarter attendance program.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

SMR Consulting, Inc. is looking for a Technology Intern who can work on integration of our internal systems. This is a great learning opportunity and will be very interesting. This individual may also be exposed and work along side a Senior IT Consultant on client-based projects. Candidates must have a relevant technical background to be considered. UNDERGRADUATE TRAINING PROGRAM
The Center for Health Disparities and Molecular Medicine (CHDMM) of Loma Linda University School of Medicine will host its Undergraduate Training Program (UTP) from June 16 to August 8, 2008. The UTP is a summer biomedical research internship program for undergraduate students funded by the National Center on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NCMHD) and National Institutes of Health (NIH).
