Communication Department
The Department of Communication serves the communication needs of
students in every department, offering instruction in a variety
of communication skills and principles that apply in mass media,
public speaking, small group, and interpersonal settings. The department
also provides curricula leading to a variety of communication-related
careers, with specific preparation for careers in public relations,
journalism, international communication and speech pathology. The
curriculum in communication is of value to those preparing for careers
in business, law, medicine, pastoral or evangelistic ministry, broadcasting,
