Saki Short Stories
Questions to Consider

Basing your answers on the short stories (and supporting with references to story lines), address the following:

  1. What does H. H. Munro admire in people? How do we know this?

  2. Many of his stories ridicule people by describing them humorously. What can we say Saki does NOT admire in people? What character traits does he abhor?

  3. How does Saki describe a really smart (bright, intelligent) character?

  4. Do good characters always come to good ends? Why/why not? Explain.
