Ubiquity:  Very common

Distritution: Throughout except S of Napa

Plant Communities:  Blue Oak Woodland, Valley Oak Riparian, Regular Chaparral

Habitats:  Dry, sunny to partially shaded, (sandy?), wooded or brushy streamsides.  Occasionally on slopes and in creekbeds/canyons/ & seasonal drainages; on most geologic formations, but not serpentine

Elevations:  300-2500'

Comments: Non-allergenic.  = R. t. var. quinata
