Habitats:  Dry, sunny, grassy or weedy riversides/riverbanks/streambeds/ & waste areas; & in disturbed places like roadsides/ & cultivated land; in most formations but atypically on serpentine

Elevations:  10-2500'

Habitats:  Dry, sunny, weedy cultivated places

Comments:  Non-native.  Collection needed.  Lumped with L. serriola in new Jeps. flora.  Observations of two intermingled populations reveal that these two taxa have exclusive blooming periods
