Transportation
Transportation can be a big issue here at PUC, especially for those
students who don't have a car. Therefore we wanted all of you to
know that there are indeed public transportation options available
in the surrounding areas. You can find summary information at your
fingertips by going to "Transportation" under the PUC
Life section of our college's main web page
We've worked with Public Relations to give you a summary list of
providers and routes TO and FROM the three major airports of San
Francisco, Oakland, and Sacramento. However this is MORE than just
an airport schedule. You can use this information for connections
and routes to many locations. One of the key points is the Napa
Valley VINE Route #10. This bus service is what takes you up
and down the valley, and drops/picks you up from downtown St. Helena
in front of City Hall. Granted, you will have to hitch a ride to/from
St. Helena, but usually that's not hard to do. Many friends &
neighbors (Faculty, Staff, Students) make that trip all the time.
Finding someone to help you out to/from St. Helena is definitely
a lot easier than going to/coming from Napa, Vallejo, Fairfield,
or the Bay Area!
So if you need to get somewhere (including the airports) and you
don't have a vehicle at your disposal, or even if you want to experience
a different way of travel around, check out the Transportation information
on our college's web page!
