| About PCCA |
PCCA is a division of the Pacific Union College Music Department, a fully accredited member of the National Association of Schools of Music. The program was begun in 1984 and lessons and ensembles are available to all ages for those not enrolled in the college. Nestled high in the hills of the beautiful Napa Valley, PUC has long been a part of the
California story. Its tradition of musical excellence dates from
the time of Professor Noah Paulin, who began the music school
in the early 1900's. A qualified staff
of contemporary instructors continue
that tradition today.

| The Role of Parents |
It is a commitment on the part of parents to nurture music and art in the life of a child. The brief amount of time spent in a class with a teacher cannot compare to a parent's ongoing enthusiams and love for the arts which is the main inspiration for a child's own artistic exploration. Singing, playing, and creating together at home make the arts a part of daily life, which creates memories that will inspire future involvement in the arts. This is the gift of a lifetime. Please feel free to contact individual teachers or the director of Paulin Center for the Creative Arts with your questions, suggestions, or problems. |
