
Pro Musica, the select choral ensemble of Pacific
Union College, went to Scandinavia and St. Petersburg, Russia
with the String Quartet in June. In recent years, this select
ensemble has performed in Hawaii and Australia.
Bel Canto
and Kantorei are general choirs available to all
students with beginning to advanced levels of choral experience.
These choirs often combine to
perform large works with orchestra. Auditions
are held each quarter. Performance opportunities include two
to three on-campus concerts per quarter. Rehearsals are held
Tuesday and Thursday: 12-12:50 p.m.
Pro Musica is PUC's premier choral ensemble. Students with advanced vocal potential and experience are eligible for membership. Auditions are held during the Fall Quarter and students who are selected make a commitment for the full academic year. Performance opportunities include off-campus tours. Co-requisite: membership in Bel Canto or Kantorei. Rehearsals are held Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 12-12:50 p.m.
