Reservation Policies

We require a 48 hour notice on all orders, less notice will be considered emergency and equipment and/or service will not be promised. If you are renting our equipment or services for a non-academic purpose, a late-notice charge will be added to your invoice. Our phone mail system is available at all times for you to leave an equipment request.

Our reservation system is currently only a call-in system. Please call extension 7221 if you are on-campus, or 707-965-7221 if you are off-campus. When calling or leaving a message, please provide us with the following information:

  • Your name
  • Your department (if any)
  • Your phone numbers
  • The date and time you would like the equipment delivered to you
  • The date and time you would like the equipment picked up from you
  • The actual date and time the event starts
  • The building and room you would like the equipment delivered to, or where it will be used if you are going to pick it up yourself
  • And finally, the equipment you would like to rent or reserve.

If you have a complex request it is better to talk to someone in the office to make sure you're ordering the proper equipment for your situation. We will not try to oversell you on anything, but we do want to make sure you don't make non-obvious mistakes such as ordering a microphone, but forgetting to order something to plug that mic into!

Please feel free to use our web pages to make yourself familiar with the terminology of our equipment and services to avoid confusion when placing your orders.
