Assistant or Associate Professor of Education
FULL-TIME, TENTURE TRACK
Wage Rate: Commensurate with Degree & Experience (plus denominational benefits, depending upon
Qualifications and experience)
Duties: Reporting to the Academic Dean and Chair of the Education Department, duties include: teaching, supervising student teachers, advising, field service, committee work; teaching classes for elementary and/or secondary credential candidates; supervising elementary student teachers; advising of elementary credential candidates; serve as Education Department representatives in the community and for the Pacific Union Curriculum Committee; teaching Summer School courses as needed; non-load assignments such as: attendance at department staff meetings, college assemblies, chapels, department activities; available for regular office hours(10 hours weekly for student advising); facilitate placement of graduates; and duties as assigned.
