Cohort Approach to Classes
The Degree Completion Programs are designed to provide students with a major in the chosen area of study, either Business or Early Childhood Education. The Degree Completion Programs follow a cohort model where the same group of adult learners meet for classes one evening per week to complete the courses in the major. These small, cohesive groups provide an excellent support and learning environment. Depending on the academic preparation and background of each student, additional courses will usually need to be taken to complete the undergraduate degree. A total of 128 semester or 192 quarter credits are needed for graduation. The college education experience is comprised of courses for the major, general education courses, and elective courses.
