Currently, students who graduate each year have no practical
way to identify all of the companies and organizations which
have an interest in recruiting college and university graduates.
As a result, most students find themselves limiting their job-hunting
to the geographic area in which they live or where they are attending
college. Some companies actually visit certain colleges to recruit
graduates, but because of the thousands of colleges that exist,
company recruiters simply cannot visit all campuses. From a student's
perspective, most of the job opportunities have not been readily
identifiable, so numerous job possibilities are not easily explored and may not be known to many of our students.
To help students in their search for employment opportunities, the Business Department at Pacific Union College has signed up with AfterCollege. One of the purposes of this organization is to help College students and College graduates in their search for part time, internship, and full time employment positions. Positions listed with and through AfterCollege provide students with employment opportunities in many different areas of business (accounting, finance, marketing, advertising, human resources, information systems, etc.) . Numerous organizations and top employers in the US are listed with them, providing a wide array of job possibilities.
