Do you like to make decisions? Do you like to learn new and
practical ideas? Do you enjoy a variety of challenges in
an array of tasks? What about working with a diversity of
people or even by yourself? The field of business is extremely
broad and varied. Different business organizations and even
the same businesses need people with different interests,
skills, and abilities. A business major at Pacific Union
College provides each graduate with the educational background
for entry level positions in many different types of profit
and not-for-profit organizations and institutions.
To provide for the large variety of employment positions
and individual interests, the Department of Business Administration
and Economics at Pacific Union College offers several different
programs of study (BBA, BS, BA). The program in which the
majority of studnts major is the Bachelor of Business Administration
(BBA) degree, which is compatible to the degrees offered in
large public colleges and universities. To meet the needs
of students who want a strong business background, but are
not able to take as many courses as required by the BBA degree
program, the Business Department also has a BS and a BA program
in Business. A brief description of these programs is given
below.
