Premed Handbook

Welcome to the Premedical Home Page. Any student aspiring to be a medical doctor should spend a bit of time with the materials contained in this document.

The Premedical Handbook gives all the requirements for entering medicine and advice on how to accomplish the task.

You may send e-mail messages to either Robin Vance (Biology Department) or Marie Pak (Chemistry Department) the Premedical Advisors for Pacific Union College, if you have questions about medicine. If you are a student on this campus, you may request an e-mail address and at the same time be put on the Premedical Group. Every time there is an important bit of information, you will be notified by e-mail. Questions of general interest will be answered on the Premedical Group.

To request an e-mail address, go to the Computer Center in the basement of the library (the stairs going down below the library on the Dining Commons side of the library) and request an e-mail address from the secretary there. Tell her that you want to be in the Premed Group, and she will put you on a special list. If you don't tell her that you want on the Premed Group, all you will get is an e-mail address and will get none of the important messages the premed advisors will send out.

Premed Advisors may be reached by the following means:
Email: Robin Vance  rvance@puc.edu  Marie Pak mpak@puc.edu
Voice: Robin Vance (707) 965-6227  Marie Pak (707) 965-7598
