News and Upcoming Psi Chi events:

Psi Chi inducted two new members during Spring
quarter, 2007. New Inductees included Zachary Benton and Cara Tan.
Officers for the 2007-2008 year were also elected. Congratulations
to Georgiana Tutu, President, Priscilla Miranda, Vice-president, Stephanie
Beck, Treasurer, Zachary Benton, Secretary, and Cara Tan, Public Relations.

The WPA conference was held in Vancouver, British
Columbia this past May. Three student presentations were made by
11 PUC students. Several additional PUC students attended the convention.
Psi Chi members making presentations were Stephanie Beck, Zachary Benton,
Priscilla Miranda, Cara Tan, and Christian von Pohle.

The deadline for submission of papers to the annual
convention of the Western Psychological Association (April 10-13, 2008
in Irvine, California) is November 15, 2007. For more information

The requirements to qualify to become a member
of Psi Chi are as follows: Students must be a declared major or minor
in psychology and have completed 14 units of Psychology classes,
have an overall GPA of 3.5, have completed at least five quarters of college,
and have a love for the study of psychology.
